For over 30 years, Clear Lake Recording Studios has been providing Los Angeles area Artists, Engineers, and Producers a practical alternative to big budget Hollywood studios. Famed acoustician, George Augspurger, designed Studio A to supply an exceptionally well-tuned control room, a large live tracking room, and 3 isolation booths. Along with an acoustically beautiful space, Clear Lake Recording Studios maintains an impressive collection of Vintage equipment and the latest in digital technology.

Our Story

Clear Lake Recording Studios has been recording great music in the same North Hollywood location since 1987. Studio A was the first room to be completed and has remained the premier room at Clear Lake. Original owner, Brian Levi, enlisted George Augspberger, the famed acoustician, to design and tune the studio. Clear Lake’s current owner, Eric Milos, embarked on a complete overhaul in 2012 that resulted in 2 additional studios, and overhaul of the equipment and aesthetic. Since then Clear Lake consistently upgrades elements of the studio to stay ahead of the ever-evolving recording industry.

A high-end expansion of Clear Lake Recording, owner Eric Milos created Fever Recording with a luxurious atmosphere where clients can receive the VIP treatment with comfortable, private lounges, and full-service amenities.

Fever Recording offers production, recording, mixing, post production, voice over services and much more. Depending on your project needs, we will match you with the perfect engineer from our diverse team of friendly, skillful engineers.

Studio 1 houses a SSL 4000G and a variety of vintage and modern outboard gear. Studio 1’s attractive live room is preserved with its deep, natural wood tones, creating a warm ambience that has plenty of room to simultaneously hold a grand piano, drums set, guitarist, bassist, and vocalist, making this large area an excellent space to film. Clients of Studio 1 can walk up the spiral staircase to their exclusive, private lounge.
